The basic principle of my teaching's method is based on the theories expressed in the book " The Word Brain", by Sebastian Kamps and Elisa Cadinu :
Listen> Memorize> Elaborate> Comprehend> Remember> Writing>
> Talk <
The method is based on:
- the "Significance" and "mechanistic", or rather, the student assimilates the new learning contents through both a repetitive work aimed at the memorization of the grammar rules, the vocabulary and the verbal conjugations, and through a personal cognitive work, which consists in the re-elaboration of the new elements, the own schemes, or the established concepts, the result of previous learning.
- the Comparison, whose purpose is to highlight the structural and syntactic differences between two different languages
- the Error, which leads the students to reason independently about it, and about "his why", and pushes them to formulate a logical explanation. Of course, students are led by the teacher to make mistakes ;-)
The total number of the hours is divided more or less like this, according to the task:
a) Course of A0-A2 level: 30 hours of pure grammar, 15 hours of written production and comprehension, 20 hours of listening , 15 hours of oral production and comprehension.
b) Courses of A2-B1+ level: 20 hours of pure grammar, 20 hours of written production and comprehension, 30 hours of listening , 30 hours of oral production and comprehension.
c) Course Level B2-C1: 10hours of pure grammar, 20 hours of written production and comprehension, 50 hours of listening, 40 hours of oral production and comprehension
